July 2, 2019—Valvoline announced that a franchisee acquired two shops in the Philadelphia area that will be rebranded as Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations.
Franchisee Galena Companies operates six of the 11 VIOC locations in the metro market. The company acquired the two shops, both of which are in New Jersey, according to a press release.
The service centers are at 334 W. Whitehorse Pike in Magnolia, N.J., and at 110 Greentree Road in Glassboro, N.J.
The move helps to expands the Valvoline's footprint to more than 1,300 company-owned and franchise locations.
