Aug. 6, 2019—Take 5 Oil Change purchased a chain of quick lubes in Lubbock, Texas.
Bolton Oil Co. sold its six locations to Take 5. The transition is expected to be quick, reports the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
Bolton will keep its convenience stores, the paper added.
Take 5 already had one location in the Texas city but has been expanding a lot this year. The company acquired another Texas chain, Advance Kwik Lube, earlier this year. That added 25 shops to the roster.
Bolton has 68 years of experience in the area and had more than a dozen locations throughout its various types of businesses.
