Aug. 19, 2019—With the demolition of an old service station, plans for a new Grease Monkey shop are under way in Kentucky.
The Bowling Green Daily News reports that businessman Satish Patel is looking to build a franchise shop at the 1200 Broadway Ave. location. He hopes to have a grand opening by December.
The Daily News report notes that the brand is looking to expand into new markets.
“For many years we were a regional chain focused on the Rocky Mountain area,” said Jeff King, Grease Monkey’s director of franchise development, in the Daily News. “Our goal now is to expand into areas where we don’t have a lot of coverage.”
Patel might have his eyes on multiple locations before he's done, the story said.
