Aug. 27, 2019—Valvoline has opened a company-owned Instant Oil Change location in the Houston area, and it announced the addition of five franchised shops in New Jersey.
The company shop is an acquisition in Conroe, a northern suburb of Houston. This is the 11th company-owned VIOC in the Houston market out of 12 total shops, according to a press release.
The new service center is at 14462 Highway 105 W.
Valvoline also announced that franchisee Galena Companies acquired five New Jersey quick lube shops that have been rebranded as VIOCs. They are located at 932 Rt. 9 in South Amboy, 17 S. Whitehorse Pike in Berlin, 400 S. Whitehorse Pike in Stratford, 6400 Blackhorse Pike in Egg Harbor and 1121 Hurffville Road in Woodbury.
