October 1, 2019—Valvoline said in press releases that a franchisee acquired a new location in South Carolina. Additionally, the company announced a new wholly owned shop in Texas and another in Michigan.
The franchised shop comes courtesy of Quality Automotive Services Companies, which operates 12 Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations in the greater Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson area. This latest shop is located at 2230 Gentry Memorial Highway in Pickens, S.C.
The Texas VIOC location is operated by Valvoline and opened in the Houston area. That marks 12 such shops for the company in that market. This one is located at 5330 FM 1463 in Fulshear.
The Michigan location is in the greater Detroit area, where Valvoline runs 51 VIOCs. This shops is located at 3160 Rochester Road in the city of Troy.
