The company moved from one end of Chicagoland to another.

Oct. 16, 2019—RelaDyne announced this month that it relocated one of its facilities in the greater Chicago area.

The new location is a former Sherwin Williams paint facility, where the company is finishing renovations. It will be the new home of a consolidated Great Lakes operation, according to a press release. Three regional facilities with 11 buildings were consolidated to this new location.

The new home of RelaDyne's Great Lakes operation is Chicago Heights, Ill. The previous nearby location was 45 miles north in Elk Grove, Ill.

“This relocation is an exciting venture for RelaDyne,” GM Chris Lasso said in the release. “We will have increased warehouse capability, modernized office space and more that our customers and associates alike will directly benefit.”

The company says it worked through a private-public partnership with the city of Chicago Heights to make the move. Among RelaDyne's brands are Lucas Oil Products and DuraMax.
