Dec. 10, 2019—After a month-long effort, Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Columbia, S.C. has raised $10,000 for Harvest Hope during their annual giving campaign. For every oil change performed in the Midlands during November, Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers donated $1 and accepted customer donations.
“We are always so grateful for the support of our community partners like Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers, especially during the holiday season,” said Wendy Broderick, Harvest Hope CEO, in a press release. “The generosity of them and their customers is going to provide thousands of meals to our neighbors in need this Christmas.”
Since the drive began in 2015, Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers has raised more than $40,000, providing over 200,000 meals to South Carolinians facing hunger, the release said.
