Dec. 18, 2019—A Jiffy Lube recently announced the addition of shops in Alabama and Mississippi.
One of the Alabama locations was previously a Mobil 1 Express Lube, according to a press release. It's a six-bay building at 897 Cox Creek Parkway in Florence, Ala. The franchisee is Premium Velocity Auto LLC.
“We are excited to expand in Alabama, further serving the residents of Florence by providing fast, convenient quality automotive services,” said Kevin Lyng, president of Premium Velocity Auto, in the release. “This new service center complements our eight locations in Alabama and Mississippi.”
The franchisee, Premium Velocity Auto LLC, also acquired a chain of Havoline xpress lubes in both states. Those were operated by Randy Groover, who is moving into retirement.
“For nearly 25 years, I’ve dedicated myself to serving the residents of Mississippi and have loved every minute of it,” said Randy Groover, President of Pro Oil Shop, which owned and operated the Havoline xpress lube and Service Centers. “As I begin my next journey, which involves spending more quality time with my family and enjoying retirement, I wanted to ensure that my hard work would continue to serve the community.”
