Oilstop Location Moves to Company Control

A retiring franchisee is giving Oilstop ownership of his shop, which will continue business as usual.

Dec. 20, 2019—The owner of a Santa Fe, N.M., Oilstop franchise shop has retired and turned over ownership to the company.

Franchise Point Blank Industries, led by David Beaty, closed on the deal on Nov. 4, according to a press release from mergers and acquisitions advisor Generational Equity. The two-bay shop opened in 1999.

Upon Beaty's retirement, Oilstop will keep the staff and management teams in place to continue operation.

Oilstop is based in California.
