Jan. 23, 2020—Oil Changers has acquired Hawaii’s largest independent oil change business, Flagship FastLube.

Rick Price, founder and CEO of Flagship FastLube, his wife Teresa and sons Christopher and Brandon have built the Flagship businesses over a period of 30 years to include six locations, according to a press release.

“I can think of no better operator than Oil Changers to take over ownership of Flagship FastLube,” Price said in the release. “We are very proud of the Flagship brand, our more than 80 employees, the communities we serve and the philanthropic initiatives we are blessed to support.”

The Price family will continue to own and run Flagship Express Car Wash and CarWash808 Express.

The addition of Flagship to Oil Changers will bring company location count to 50 and will provide the Flagship FastLube team new opportunities to grow alongside California colleagues.

“The strong local brand and expertly trained staff are what made the business a great fit for Oil Changers,” said Eric Frankenberger, President of Oil Changers. "We are excited to grow Flagship FastLube into the future throughout the State of Hawaii.”
