May 6, 2020—Highline Aftermarket, a national distributor of automotive products, has announced that facilities producing products like Rain-X washer fluid and Prime Guard diesel exhaust fluid have increased production of 80-percent alcohol hand sanitizer and 100-percent pure household bleach according to a press release.

According to the release, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Protection recommends alcohol-based hand sanitizers (composed of at least 70 percent alcohol) as an effective way to destroy and slow the spread of the coronavirus. Disinfectant bleach is also recommended for sanitizing household surfaces, using a mixture of five tablespoons of chlorine bleach per gallon of water.
