Pep Boys to Celebrate 100 Years

Nov. 13, 2020

Pep Boys is celebrating 100 years of service with the debut of a Centennial Calendar and new partnerships with the Bob Woodruff Foundation and RecruitMilitary.

Nov. 13, 2020—Pep Boys will turn 100 in 2021.

According to a press release, Pep Boys has released the Pep Boys Centennial Calendar, offering its customers savings on automotive service throughout the coming year.

In light of Veteran's Day recently being celebrated earlier this year, Pep Boys plans to donate a portion of the proceeds from the calendar to support workforce development and reintegration efforts for soldiers returning to civilian life.

Pep Boys was founded by Navy veterans in 1921, and has now established a new partnership with the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which will help fund programs that support veterans and their families, and RecruitMilitary, a recruitment partner which helps employers connect with veterans seeking employment, to continually hire veteran candidates with in-demand skills.
