Mobile Oil Change Thrives In Nebraska Town

Feb. 15, 2021—An oil change business in Kearney, Neb., is offering the first mobile services in the city and looking to expand, the Kearney Hub reported. 

P/R Mobile, which has built a customer base of around 500 and a retention rate of 90 percent in its two years of operation, is run by Garrett Poppen. 

Poppen, along with several part-time employees, operate the trailer that travels from home to home to complete oil change services. On Fridays, the trailer posts up at the local Hy-vee, where customers can get a free car wash with an oil change purchase. 

Poppen is now looking at expanding his services into several other cities.
