March 8, 2021—Small businesses added roughly 32,000 jobs in the month of February, Small Business Trends reported.

Pulled from the ADP National Employment Report for February, it was a slightly slower growth than in January, when 51,000 jobs were added.

The service-providing sector provided the growth, adding 48,000 jobs, two thirds of which came from businesses with less than 20 employees.

Franchise’s in the auto parts and dealers industry also had a solid month adding 9,400 jobs.

Total employment over all businesses increased 117,000 from January to February as the country continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
