March 31, 2021—President Joe Biden signed the PPP Extension Act of 2021 on March 30, which adds two months to the program.
The new deadline is May 31. An additional 30 days after the deadline was added to process pending applications.
"More than 8.2 million PPP loans have provided struggling small businesses with the relief they need to keep workers employed and make ends meets during this pandemic," Small Business Administration Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman said in a statement.
