A Bainbridge lube shop employee was life-flighted to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Tuesday afternoon after a bad fall while on the job.

The employee was in the oil changing pit area at Tommy T’s Mighty Lube when he fell and hit his head just before 1 p.m., according to Bainbridge Public Safety.

BPS officers assisted Decatur County EMS paramedics to get the man out of the pit and onto a stretcher.

A helicopter landed in the parking lot of the former Bainbridge K-Mart across Shotwell Street from Tommy T’s to carry the employee to Tallahassee.
