June 23, 2021—Jiffy Lube will be building a new location in Alabama later this summer.
The new location will be built on the site of an old Taco Bell in Trussville, just off Interstate 59 about 15 miles northeast of Birmingham, according to the Trussville Tribune. The old Taco Bell building will be demolished, and paving, landscaping and grading will be needed before construction can begin.
“Trussville is a good fit for Jiffy Lube as the location complements three existing Jiffy Lube service centers in Alabama,” Jiffy Lube spokesperson Jennifer Friedmann said via the Trussville Tribune. “Premium Velocity Auto is looking forward to serving the residents of Trussville.”
Premium Velocity Auto, LLC, will own and operate the franchise. Friedmann said construction should begin by the end of the summer, and the location should be open by the end of the year or early 2022.
