June 23, 2021—Milton Industries, a pneumatic and hydraulic accessory maker, announced Tuesday it is acquiring National-Spencer and the Zee Line brand of lube and fluid management products.
This is the third acquisition in the last 18 months for Chicago-based Milton according to a news release from the company. National-Spencer has facilities in Wichita, Kan., Spencer, Iowa, and Stockton, Calif.
"This extends Milton’s footprint in industrial, agricultural and aeronautic markets and expands Zee Line’s distribution channels,” Milton CEO Greg Carlson said via the release. “We plan to use our design and engineering expertise to broaden both brands’ premium product offerings. Our combined systems, support and network will multiply growth.”
Carlson will serve as CEO of the Zee Line by Milton Brand. National-Spencer was employee-owned before the merger.
