Aug. 24, 2021—The Fayetteville Planning Commission earlier this month approved development plans for a Jiffy Lube service center.

According to a report from the Fayetteville Flyer, the new location will be built on the eastern side of Fayetteville, Ark., about five miles from Interstate 49. Plans for the building show a a near 3,000-square-foot facility with two drive-thru bays, a connected office area and parking lot on nearly two acres of currently undeveloped land.

Developers initially hoped to turn the property into a restaurant in 2017, but those plans fell through. Two exceptions to city development ordinances that had been provided to the property carried over to the new Jiffy Lube plans, though.

The new location will be Jiffy Lube's 12th in the state.
