Sept. 28, 2021—Jiffy Lube last week broke ground on a new shop location in New Jersey.
According to the Cinnaminson Patch, the company held a groundbreaking ceremony Friday for the new shop in Cinnaminson, New Jersey, about 12 miles east of Philadelphia across the Delaware River.
"We are very pleased that Jiffy Lube has chosen to add Cinnaminson to their vast inventory of service centers, and extremely happy to welcome them to our thriving Route 130 business corridor," Cinnaminson Mayor Albert Segrest said at the ceremony.
The shop has been in the plans since 2020 when Jiffy Lube presented plans for the shop to the city's municipal economic development committee. No definitive timeline on when the shop will be complete was provided, but officials said they hope to have it up and running by early 2022.
