Oct. , 2021—Michigan-based quick lube and car wash chain Performance Plus on Wednesday announced its acquisition of Van's Car Wash and Quick Lube.
Van's, which was found in the 1930s and expanded to include quick lube services in the '80s, operates eight locations in Muskegon, Mich., according to a news release. Performance Plus has 38 locations in both the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan.
"We're excited to expand our presence into these great markets and welcome Van's team members into the Performance Plus family. We intend to demonstrate a continuing focus of delivering high-value lubrication and car washes with a courteous smile," said Kyle Klingenberg, Performance Plus president.
With the acquisition, Performance Plus now operates 46 locations across Michigan.
