FullSpeed Completes 14 Acquisitions

FullSpeed Automotive announced three acquisitions Thursday, bringing the total of shops attained by automotive aftermarket chain to 14 since the start of the third quarter.

Oct. 22, 2021—FullSpeed Automotive announced three acquisitions Thursday, bringing the total of shops attained by automotive aftermarket chain to 14 since the start of the third quarter.

According to a news release, FullSpeed acquired Super Lube Service in Boliver, Mo., and two franchised Grease Monkey locations in Savage and Eden Prairie, Minn. The company also completed acquisitions in Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Louisiana, New Hampshire and Texas.

“We are excited about the continued expansion of the FullSpeed portfolio across the entire country,” FullSpeed Automotive CEO Kevin Kormondy said in the release. “Our acquisitions are not limited by geography or number of units. When we find the right acquisition partner, we will move quickly."

All 14 newly acquired shops will be rebranded as either a Grease Monkey or SpeeDee Oil Change  Auto Service location. With the acquisitions, FullSpeed Automotive now has 690 company-owned and franchised locations across the country.
