Nov. 17, 2021—Private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners on Monday announced it will acquire a majority stake in Super Star Car Wash.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed according to the Joplin Globe, though TSG announced the agreement is "definitive."
Super Star Car Wash, based in Phoenix, has 35 locations across the southwest and offers full quick lube services at several of those locations.
"We are thrilled to partner ... the first-class team at Super Star Car Wash,” TSG executive Colin Welch said. “We are excited to further the company’s unique emphasis on its people, customers and local communities, which, along with its innovative membership model, has helped it develop a deep and loyal customer base.”
