Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change on Monday pledged $500,000 to its anti-bullying foundation. 

Nov. 23, 2021—Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change on Monday pledged $500,000 to its anti-bullying foundation. 

According to a news release, CEO Justin Strickland is matching a $250,000 corporate donation with his own money. The foundation assists schools with "practical anti-bullying solutions." 

"I hope that we can assist our franchise partners in becoming more involved in their communities without placing a financial requirement or burden on them," Strickland said. "I hope that collectively, as a brand, we use our financial resources, our time and efforts to bring hope, inclusion and a better tomorrow for the Strickland Brothers’ cities and communities we know and love.”

According to data from the National Center for Educational Statistics cited in the release, more than 20 percent of children currently have experience some form of bullying. 

Strickland Brothers is headquartered in Winston-Salem, N.C.
