Dec. 6, 2021—Valvoline Instant Oil Change has plans to bring a new quick lube location to central Indiana.
According to the Anderson Herald Bulletin, the national oil change brand is planning to tear down an old Steak 'n' Shake building for its new quick lube shop in Anderson, Ind., about 40 miles northeast of Indianapolis on Interstate 69.
The city's zoning appeals board approved VIOC's plan Wednesday in a special session. The shop will be just over 2000 square feet and will employ up to seven people.
