Dec. 9, 2021—Supply chain issues continue to challenge automotive repair and maintenance shops. A recent regional news article spoke to a Delaware Jiffy Lube owner about those wait times.
“Sometimes it might be an hour, an hour and a half wait where a lot of the other shops might be a month or two-month wait to get on a list to get in, because of manpower or supplies,” Mike Soules, owner of Jiffy Lube in Lewes, Del., told WMDT.
The headaches are seen up and down the supply chain. Soules told the news station that his suppliers are finding out that they can't have a single supplier. He added that his customer base has been very understanding of the situation.
