Jan. 17, 2022—A franchisee of Grease Monkey Oil Changes & More is planning to open three new quick lube shops in the Austin, Texas, area over the next couple of years.
According to a report from the Community Impact Newspaper, franchisee Ralph Rickey will open the first of the three shops in Round Rock, which is about 20 miles north of downtown Austin on Interstate 35. That location is expected to open within the next nine months.
A second location is planned for the Austin area and is expected to open in the next 18 months, and a third will shortly follow that one within the next two years.
Grease Monkey has almost 300 locations across the country. Thirty-one of those are in Texas, but only two are within a 50-mile radius of the Austin area.
