Jan. 18, 2022—A town in south central Wisconsin has approved a new Jiffy Lube facility for construction.

According to a report from the town's local newspaper, city council members approved a General Development Plan and Precise Implementation Plan for the new shop to be built in Sun Prairie, Wis., a northeastern suburb of Madison.

The new Jiffy Lube location will be 3,000 square feet, but the report does not say how many bays the shop will have. Construction is expected to begin in July of this year. Once completed, the shop is expected to employ up to 11 people.
