Valvoline Team Helps Save a Life

July 21, 2022

The Henley Pacific LA team in Visalia, California, worked together to help a man in an emergency situation at the store location.

July 21, 2022—The team at a Valvoline franchise location has been recognized by local first responders for their efforts to help save a man's life.

According to a statement from the company, the Henley Pacific LA team, located in Visalia, California, responded quickly when a man became unresponsive due to an apparent heart attack. The man was a first-time guest at the location, and had just been greeted by team member CSA Sergio Sanchez.

Sanchez and his fellow team member Andres Bravo notified ASCM Chris Reall of the guest's condition. Reall called 911 and, through the direction of the operator, instructed his team to remove the guest from the vehicle and lay him on the ground.

From there, team members William Harris, Jexuan Moreno, and Andres traded off performing CPR. They did this for almost five minutes until paramedics arrived.

The guest is now in stable condition, and local first responders told the Visalia-Costco team that they believe the guest is alive because of the team's quick thinking and action.
