Aug. 31, 2022—Bar's Leaks has turned 75 years old.

According to a press release, Bar's Leaks has sealed over 400 million vehicle fluid leaks since its inception in 1947. The brand began as a single radiator stop leak formula that was invented by Fred Barton.

Since that time, Bar's Leaks has grown into a brand that provides stop leak and repair products to various vehicle components. These components include but are not limited to: engines, cooling, gear boxes, hydraulics, power steering, and transmission.

This year, Bar's Leaks celebrates 75 years in business. Bar's Leaks products are made in Holly, Michigan.

“When a Bar’s Leaks product gets someone back on the road, it doesn’t just save them money, it can also save their day,” said Clay Parks, vice president of product development via the press release. “By stopping more than 400 million leaks, Bar’s Leaks has saved millions of vacations, workdays, and date nights. We’ve made it possible to win races, keep appointments and explore the world.”
