Oct. 10, 2022—Driven Brands has announced that Take 5 Oil Change opened its 200th United States franchised location last week.
According to a press release, the location is in Hutto, Texas. Take 5 Oil Change has doubled its United States franchise store count just in the last year. Driven Brands acquired Take 5 in 2016. There were less than 50 locations at the time, and the total now sits at 800 company-operated and franchise locations across the United States and Canada.
Larry King is the 200th United States franchisee for the brand. He has been a CARSTAR franchise owner for a long time, and also owns and manages four Take 5 locations with two more set to open later this year.
