Oct.14, 2022—The Automotive Parts Associates-TruStar President has released a statement encouraging donations to the Red Cross for Hurricane Ian relief efforts.
According to the statement, President Steve Tucker encourages individuals to send checks made payable to Red Cross, and mailed to Judy Sanell (P. O. Box 7069, Overland Park, KS 66207) no later than Oct. 26, 2022. This is a partnership between APA-TruStar and the Red Cross.
“In a matter of a few hours, Ian thrashed these folks’ lives, and we have to do something. APA-TruStar doesn’t just hear faraway cries, we respond to our neighbors, too. Headquarters will be leading the charge with a donation, and staff giving as they see fit,” Tucker said in the statement.
Commemorative plaques will be on display at the APA-TruStar headquarters for every participating supplier, employee or shareholder. More information about the efforts of the Red Cross can be found here.
