Dec. 22, 2022

Mike Hudgins will retire from his role as vice president of sales, and Matt Shaw will be his successor.

Dec. 22, 2022—Mighty Auto Parts has announced the retirement of Mike Hudgins and the promotion of Matt Shaw as his successor, according to a press release.

Hudgins has served as Mighty's vice president of sales for 35 years. Starting January 1, Shaw will assume the role. Shaw joined the Mighty team in 2020 as the director of sales, but his career experience in the industry began in 2002. He worked at Big O Tires in Evergreen, Colo. He went on to open his first franchise location for Big O at the age of 24, which made him the youngest owner in the history of the franchise system at the time. Shaw also previously worked for West Direct Oil out of Denver as the director of sales.

"Matt joined Mighty just a few years ago and has proven to be an excellent fit. He's made a big impact in a short period of time, so we are looking forward to his leadership over the Sales Department," said Josh D'Agostino, Mighty's president and CEO.
