Feb. 1, 2023 – On the path to rebranding Take 5 as both a car wash and quick lube service, Driven Brands has announced the opening of its 10th Take 5 co-development in Concord, N.C. according to PR Newswire.
The co-development will be combining Take 5 Oil Change and Take 5 Car Wash into one location at 1015 Concord Pkwy N. in Concord. Driven Brands plans on constructing 50 more locations like this in the next two years.
“As the car wash business benefits from the strong and growing brand awareness of Take 5,” said COO Danny Rivera. “Its high-volume locations provide a lower cost of customer acquisition for the quick lube business.”
The opening of this location also follows the company’s announcement to convert all of its car washes to being under the Take 5 brand.
EVP and President of Take 5 Car Wash, John Teddy, said he believes the fusion of Take 5 with car wash services will bring, “superior brand recognition and cross-selling capabilities.”
Over 200 of Driven Brand’s car washes now operate under the Take 5 brand, and they plan to fully rebrand all of them by the end of the year.
