Storage Solution

Fluidall LLC has developed a Double-Walled Waste Oil Package, storing up to 400 gallons of used oil and petroleum products, in a double-wall

tank constructed for longterm safety and reliable storage. Double-Walled Waste Oil packages are compatible on all of Fluidall’s UL-listed doublewalled tank sizes, providing flexibility for placement in any garage or lube shop. The outer tank is made of leak-proof, weld-free galvanized steel and is rollseamed with an oil and fire-resistant seal. The inner tank is made of blow-molded, high-density, seamless polyethylene that will never corrode. Equipped with Graco’s lubrication capabilities, the waste oil package includes air-operated double diaphragm pumps that dispense at up to 50 gallons per minute. The package also features a drain funnel with a large 10-inch opening/lid, a fluid level gauge and an optical leak alarm. An optional fork-pocketed tank cage can be added for mobility around the shop.

View Like a Pro

Mitchell 1 recently updated its ProDemand repair, diagnostic and maintenance information program with ProView, a troubleshooting

tool to help service professionals relate diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and symptoms to components. Once a code or symptom is selected in ProDemand, ProView provides all of the known fixed components for that code or symptom, or multiple codes and symptoms, based on real-world content. This allows technicians to quickly see the most commonly repaired components and plan a diagnosis strategy to resolve the problem. The ProView feature is graphic-based, delivering an alternate view of possible repair solutions via three charts: a radial graph that shows the relationship of the code or symptom to possible at-fault components, a bar chart that lists the most commonly replaced components for that code or symptom and a graph that shows the mileage at which the most common component is replaced.
