On December 24, 2015, the quick lube industry lost a pioneer -- Howie Loewen. Steve Barram, CEO of ISI, had this to say about Howie, "It is with a sad heart I want to tell you all that Howie Loewen passed away at 5.40 pm. Howie never regained consciousness after suffering the fall in his basement in November. A memorial will be at a future date not yet determined. Howie was a part of our ISI family for over two decades and will leave a lasting impression on us in many ways. Please keep Carrie, Chad and Jordan and the rest of the family in your
thoughts and prayers."
