Nov. 15, 2021

There's so much do to in Las Vegas that it can be tough to decide. NOLN curated a few choices for attendees.

Unsure what to do after the doors close at iFLEX day one? NOLN has you covered with these handpicked nightlife stops.

MGM Grand, 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd

With more than 42 million annual visitors on average and over 16 million through the first half of 2021, Las Vegas is most well-known for its nightlife. Though there are countless casinos that have made Sin City famous, MGM Grand is one of the most recognizable and offers a wide variety of entertainment options for visitors.

In addition to an extensive selection of game tables and slot machines in the casino, MGM Grand also has 20 on-site restaurants and bars, several locations for billiards and other bar games, and a “glorified arcade for grown-ups” according to CNN travel.

Located right on the strip, MGM is in the center of the action and easily accessible from across the city.

Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay, 3950 S Las Vegas Boulevard

Though the city has a reputation for loud and boisterous clubs, it also features elegant, laid-back lounges.

Foundation Room, located on the top floor of Mandalay Bay, is described as a club in the sense of having a space for drinking and engaging in conversation with friends and strangers alike. It’s 63rd-floor balcony also features an unparalleled view of the Strip and the rest of the city.

“With food, fun and a fantastic connection to the performances at House of Blues, Foundation Room is a social club that knows how to make a night of it,” the city’s website says. “Foundation Room is where you go to remember that clubs and rock 'n' roll don't have to be mutually exclusive.”

Commonwealth Bar, 525 Fremont St

Built within the last 10 years, Commonwealth is a self-described bar for both locals and visitors alike.

A two-story tavern with “iconic rooftop views and a spacious dance floor,” Commonwealth offers a retreat from the action of the strip while still providing a lively, stylish night out.

“No detail too small, Commonwealth is magnificent and meticulous in aesthetic,” the bar’s website says. “The secret ingredient to our priceless experiences is impeccable hospitality.”

A rotation of local and international DJs keeps the music scene fresh, and the bar’s menu is constantly updated with new creations from its bartenders.

Known for its expansive poker table selection, the casino at Bellagio is one of the best for pure card-playing.

In addition to its 40-table poker room, Bellagio offers a large selection of restaurants and shopping, and it’s right on the strip, keeping guests right in the action.

Self-described as “the epitome of quality, romance and elegance on the Las Vegas Strip,” the Bellagio is a classy-but-not-stuffy venue that most visitors will enjoy.

For non-gamblers, the centerpiece of the hotel/casino is its Conservatory, which features thousands of plants and displays that are changed up to five times a year. Bellagio also has a fine arts gallery that has a regular rotation of paintings and other artifacts.

Drai’s Nightclub, 3595 S Las Vegas Blvd

Though there is no shortage of live music venues in the city, Drai’s Nightclub may be the best of the best.

A swanky, 13,000-square-foot club, Drai’s offers two full-service bars and “four rooms showcasing two different music formats” according to Visit Las Vegas.

Pulled straight out of the mid-1900s with its “over-the-top” black and gold decor reminiscent of a vintage mansion, the club provides a classic night-out experience right on the strip.
