The shop had to call animal control to get the animal out from the undercarriage.

June 14, 2021—A tech performing an oil change at a Colorado Meineke turned up a critter hitching a ride.

The Daily Camera reports that a marmot was "nestled between metal, wires and tubes." The shop had to call animal control to get it out, and it was euthanized due to injuries.

The vehicle owner had traveled 100 miles before getting the service, meaning the marmot may have been along for quite a long ride.
