Bar's Leaks Develops Gear Oil Additive

Jan. 12, 2021—Bar's Leaks has brought to market a gear oil additive designed to condition seals and minimize wear.

The additive pack also contains a friction modifier, a performance booster and a pour point depressant, according to a press release. The company says that the result is less noise, fewer leaks and reduced friction.

The product can be used in manual gearboxes, differentials, and transfer cases. It also has marine applications and pairs with conventional or synthetic oils.
