The Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada is proud to announce a new partnership with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB).
This exclusive agreement will provide franchise groups and associations that are members of AIA Canada with a preferential rate for membership in CFIB, Canada’s largest association of small and medium-sized businesses. Membership grants them access to CFIB’s business resources and savings programs.
“CFIB’s ability to represent the small to medium business community and achieve major victories working with governments of all political parties, alongside AIA Canada’s own lobbying impacts and its commitment to the growth and prosperity of the aftermarket, makes for an excellent working relationship between the two associations,” explains Jean-François Champagne, President, AIA Canada.
“This strategic partnership combines the power of CFIB with the expertise of AIA,” says CFIB President Dan Kelly. “With more than 45 years of experience and 110,000 members, CFIB understands the challenges small and medium-sized businesses face, and has the resources to help them succeed. This complements AIA’s unmatched understanding of issues facing business owners in the automotive sector and brings tremendous value to their members.”
Some of the many CFIB benefits to AIA members include:
- Valuable resources: Dedicated business counselors are available in every province to answer questions on topics ranging from human resources to regulatory compliance.
- Exclusive savings: Leveraging the strength of its 110,000 members, CFIB negotiates incredible deals with carefully selected service providers. Members typically save $5,000 or more a year on services they use in their businesses every day. In the past two years, CFIB has negotiated exclusive Mastercard and American Express deals for its members, allowing them to pay much lower rates than small businesses typically do. These new partnerships complement CFIB’s savings programs on such services as payment processing, shipping and payroll services.
