VIP’s Chief Operating Officer is Promoted to President and is Appointed to VIP’s Board of DirectorsVIP Tires & Service, announced today that Timothy Winkeler has been promoted to President and COO, and he has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors. In his new position, Winkeler will be responsible for overseeing all functions at VIP.. John Quirk will assume the role of Chairman and CEO.

After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with an Industrial Engineering degree, Tim began his career in the automotive aftermarket and went to work for Dana Corporation as an Engineering Manager. While working, he received his MBA from Oklahoma City University. Tim held several positions with Dana, and eventually worked his way up to Plant Manager, overseeing the Oklahoma City WIX Filtration Manufacturing Plant.
Tim joined VIP in May 2010 as Vice President of Merchandising and, in 2013, was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
