Two new additions to AAPEX will let you experience automotive technology during your visit. The new Technology Intersection on the show floor will be filled with excitement as exhibitors have the opportunity to use an interactive interface, such as virtual reality or simulators, to demo innovative automotive technology that is not currently available in the aftermarket. The new Mobility Park, located behind the Sands Expo Center in the LINQ parking lot, will feature today’s aftermarket technology with scan tool engine demonstrations, underhood training, a 3D print area and electric vehicles.Let’s Tech returns to AAPEX 2017 with a new lineup of short, 20-minute or less presentations. Topics will include new mobile apps, emerging vehicle technologies and technology-driven new products.
Learn from the best
For the first time, Northwood University will offer sessions as part of AAPEXedu, while the Automotive Service Association (ASA) and AVI will provide technical training sessions. The Auto Care Association and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) will also host sessions tailored to each of the communities within AAPEX. NARSA – the International Heat Transfer Association – will provide a program on the latest trends and technologies in heating and cooling systems.This year’s enhanced Service Professionals Program will feature an all-new Service Professionals Summit with an expert panel of speakers to discuss emerging technologies facing auto repair and service. Carm Capriotto, founder and host of Remarkable Results Radio, will moderate the panel discussion on Nov. 2, with a reception to follow. The program also will feature under-the-hood training by AVI, and a special Advanced Vehicle Training session by ASA.
A day-long REMANedu Conference also is part of AAPEXedu and will take place on Monday, Oct. 30.
