The shooting happened at the Midas shop at 920 Northside Drive and when officers arrived, they found a man’s body in the parking lot.

Patrick and Chris Kelly said they heard four or five shots.

“There was man lying on the ground next to the car,” Patrick Kelly said.

Police are still trying to determine a motive in the shooting.

“We’re not sure if it was a robbery or we really don't know the circumstances until we get video footage of the incident,” said Atlanta police Maj. Adam Lee II.

Witnesses saw a vehicle leave the scene.

“We saw, in the Midas where the gunshots were coming from, we saw a white hatchback car pull out,” said Kelly said.

Channel 2’s Darryn Moore spotted bullet holes in the garage door, and at least one round hit a customer's pickup truck.

There are a couple of cameras posted outside the shop, and investigators are hoping they recorded the homicide and got video of the shooter.
