The Ferrari Testarossa was one of the most lusted-after cars of the 1980s, competing squarely against the Lamborghini Countach and Porsche 959 for poster space on young car enthusiasts' walls. It replaced the Berlinetta Boxer, the first mid-engine 12-cylinder road car made by Ferrari. It was also bigger than its predecessor and offered better ride comfort and more storage space. The Testarossa up for auction boasts many amenities including power windows, power seats, power locks, cruise control, and air conditioning.

While "Miami Vice" may be long gone, buyers still have one more chance of recapturing some of the adventure from the show. The "Miami Vice" Testarossa goes on sale August 15 at the Mecum Daytime Auction in Monterey, California.
