Nov. 9, 2022—Utah Jiffy Lube locations are partnering with the Unified Police Department to tackle catalytic converter thefts across the state.
According to ABC 4 Good Things Utah, the 79 Jiffy Lube locations in Utah will offer free services to drivers. These services include engraving the catalytic converter with the VIN and applying high-temp paint to the part. No appointment is necessary.
The intention behind these services is to deter thieves and hopefully make it easier for local law enforcement to identify stolen catalytic converters.
