April 7, 2022—WTOC is following the story of a Mavis Tire Supply location in Savannah, Georgia, that settled an unlawful practices case with the Georgia Department of Law.
Customers complained that Mavis did poor or incomplete work, caused new problems, or didn't perform the work they were supposed to complete, according to the story. The settlement calls for nearly $300,000 in payments and fines.
Since the settlement, other customers reached out to WTOC with complaints of incomplete service, including for oil changes.
