Take 5 to Break Ground on Texas Shop

Dec. 15, 2021—Take 5 Oil Change continues to expand its footprint throughout the Austin, Texas, area.

According to documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the national fast lube chain is set to break ground next month on a new shop in Hutto, Texas, which is about 30 miles northeast of Austin.

Construction on the 1,500-square-foot facility is expected to begin Jan. 17 of next year and wrap up on April 29. The new store is expected to cost roughly $450,000 to build. 

This is the third location Take 5 has added in the Austin area in the last two months, with one location opening in Round Rock back in October and another opening in the same town just a couple of weeks later in November.
