June 29, 2021—Solid Start, maker of True Brand products, announced certification by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
Certification by the nonprofit Council identifies and celebrates women-owned businesses for marketing and networking. Florida-based Solid Start's executive team includes CEO Amber Kossak and President Crystal Mathews.
"We are so excited and grateful to receive the official stamp of approval as a female-owned business," Mathews said in a statement. "Eleven years ago, Amber and I were told that if we wanted to be successful business owners, we should have opened a coffee shop; and that we wouldn’t make it in this industry for one year. I feel so proud of what we have accomplished with so many people like yourself helping to back us."
