April 14, 2021—Super Lube of Winnepeg, Manitoba, gave away around 5,000 oil changes to healthcare workers.
The program ran from April 3 to April 10, reports CVHN radio. Last May, a similar effort gave away 4,000 oil changes.
"A lot of our staff have been with us for a long time, they reached out and said they wanted to do something as well, a lot of companies are giving back to healthcare workers and it's so great. The staff wanted to help us make that happen," company president Jonnie Hendrickson told the outlet.
