Jan. 11, 2023—Sun Auto Tire and Service added 77 locations in 2022, according to a press release.
Sun Auto's expansion is due in part to the recent acquisition of Tire Outlet in northern Florida, which included 14 stores and 133 employees. The Tire Outlet acquisition brings Sun Auto's total to six acquisitions in 2022. The other acquisitions included: Toscalito Tire and Automotive, TGK Automotive Specialists, Superior Tire, Good Neighbor Tire and Auto Service and Coopers Auto Repair Specialists. Additionally, Sun Auto opened five new locations.
“Sun Auto is working to provide an extraordinary experience for our customers from minor maintenance services to extensive repairs,” said vice president of development Chris Garman. “This fast-paced growth ensures that we are able to provide this service to more customers across the country while maintaining the legacy and reputations of the brands we acquire.”
Sun Auto Tire and Service now has 420 locations across 18 states.
